Hi John, How are you?
Last Friday, me and my cousin Lucy decided to visit Rome in the week end.
We drove for 4 hours, because the weather was awful.
Anyway, we traveled very slowly.
Once in Rome, we went to a pub near the Hotel.
We met some Naples friends and we really enjoyed so much.
Later in the hotel we reviewed the most funny photos!!!
I wish see you soon, Mario

Ciao Luisa,
come stai? Io sto bene.
Ciao Mary

Dear James,
How are you? I am fine.
I and my cousin Sasha went to Rome last weekend.
The weather was not good in fact it always rained and so we had some problems with transportation. We could not go around Rome by bus because there was too traffic but we caught the underground. Luckily, we could admire Rome’s beauty; we saw many monuments, we took many pictures and we went on foot to go shopping to buy several souvenirs, in fact I bought a present for you.
We came back home by train and it was sunny …..
Despite everything, I spent a fun weekend.
See you soon.
Bye!
Susan.

Dear Cindy,
I have been very happy by receiving your letter last month. Here everything is OK and the life goes on very well. For example, last week I went to Rome with my cousin to spend sometime together. We leaved from Naples at 8 in the morning and here the weather was very fine, we used my car and in just 2 hours we arrived there but it immediatly started to rain. What bad luck!! So we decided to go in the hotel and leave our baggages. Then we went in the city center to see the most famous monuments in Rome such as the Fontana di Trevi, the Colosseo and tha Barcaccia and we made a lot of photos, but the weather was always rainy. In the evening we went in a beautiful disco and we came back in the hotel at 4 a.m. The day after we had a wonderful breakfast near Villa Borghese and I catched a terrible cold because I forgot the umbrella on the metro. At 1 o'clock we leaved Rome by car and we holed a wheel just a few minutes before arriving at home. Despite these terrible things we was very fun and we will depart togheter again as soon as possible.
Write me soon!!
Kisses

Dear John,
How was your weekend? I had a great time in Rome with my cousin Antonio, although the weather was not that good. We left on Saturday morning from Naples and got there at around 2pm. We were supposed to arrive at 12pm, but there were some problems with Trenitalia: the train was 2 hours late due to technical problems!
Moreover as soon as we left the station in Rome, it started rain cats and dogs and we had no umbrellas with us. At least the day was quite warm.
We went sightseeing and visited some monuments such as the Coliseum and Trevi's Fountain. They were all fantastic, I can't even describe them! We also took a lot of photos that I will show you someday.
I'm looking forward for your reply.
Regards,
Dario.

Dear Elena, how are you? I’m sorry not having writer before, I was very busy.
I have many things to tell, including the elapsed trip to Rome last weekend with my cousin Damon. Unfortunately the weather was not good and it was difficult to visit; we used to move the bus, very crowded, because the taxis were all occupied. Despite the time, we have a lot of fun.
Hotel where accommodation was beautiful and cozy rooms.
We visited many places including the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps, where there were many beautiful dresses.
I took many pictures that I will send you soon!.
I hope to hear from you soon and organize a strip together.
A hug from your friend Bonny.

Dear Jane,
It’s a long time since I write you, how are you?
I’m fine and I have a lot to tell. Last weekend I went to Rome with my two cousins. We decided to go by train. We left at 9.00 from Naples to get to Rome at 12.00, or at least these were the plans. Indeed, during the journey the train was broken. We had arrived at the station in Caserta. After waiting for three hours, we decided to take the bus. Fortunately there was one that started at 15.00. The bus trip was very long because it started to rain very strong and there was lots of traffic; moreover we also found an accident. We arrived in Rome at 21.30. Fortunately a friend of mine came to take us at the station, she hosted us for two days. We visited many monuments, met so many people. Despite the long journey to Rome and the bad time, stay in Rome was wonderful. I'd like to return to Rome because it is a very beautiful city.
All good things!
Write soon!
Your Italian friend.

Dear Michael,
how are you? I hope that you are well. Unfortunately we don’t have much time to meet. I writing to tell you of my little trip to Rome.
Last weekend I and my cousin Peter went to Rome. Peter wanted to visit Rome, he had never been before.
Unfortunately the weather was not good. Saturday morning was sunny but in afternoon the sky is turned black and it started to rain very strong. It continued to rain all night. Sunday the weather was continued to be not beautiful. The sky was gray and we felt cold.
Despise bad weather and transport, Peter and I have visited Rome. We had difficulties with the trains and buses. Trains have not complied with the coincidences, the buses have made very late due to some strikes. In addition our hotel was outside of Rome center and taxi were very expansive.
Despise everything we enjoyed, we visited the Sistine Chapel, Colosseum, Spanish Steps and more. Oh I forgot, we sailed the Tevere by boat, it was great. We took lots of photos, when you have time I will show you.
Now I must leave you, it’s late, unfortunately I must return to study. I hope that we can see us soon.
Bye

Dear Jane,
last weekend my cousin and I went on a trip to Rome, Venice and Capri. First we will need to find a place to stay, so I have booked a B&B, there are lots of them around Rome and usually they are cheaper, cleaner and will have great service. Our initial plan was to fly from London to Rome. After a couple hour’s flight we landed at Fiumicino airport. We decided to go for the Leonardo Express (train) which takes you from the airport to Termini for 9.50 euro per person. Since the hotel is located near the Termini train station we decided to just walk to the hotel.
The inner city of Rome is not that big so it is possible to cover a lot of the city on foot or with the bus, it’s the most convenient way to travel, because compared to other European cities, Rome is extremely cheap, the metro ticket costs only 1 euro.
After three days in Rome we had to get up at the crack of down to catch our flight at 07.45 from Fiumicino to Venice. When we come out of the Marco Polo airport, we studied the map in the guidebook and we seen that the hotel was not far away from the airport, in fact after about 5 minutes we come to the hotel. Venice is quite amazing because there are no cars or motor bikes driving around, so all the transportation is done by using the river. You can use the Vaporetto, this is a sort of bus boat service. For 5 euro you get a ticket and you can jump of wherever you want. We took it one day when it was hot outside.
On Saturday we started on our trip to Capri, we bought tickets at S. Lucia train station. Upon arriving in Naples, we transferred to the Circumvesuviana tracks, where hundreds of people were waiting to board the next train to Sorrento, we crammed on like sardines with everyone else!
We arrived in Sorrento and we took a bus from the Circumvesuviana depot to the port, and boarded the next hydrofoil for Capri. Once we arrived in Capri’s port, Marina Grande, we take the cable car (or “funiculare”) up to the city Capri is such a pretty island and a great holiday destination, but it’s very expensive. We spent here only 2 days, because we have covered the major attraction and then it was time to come back at home. However we had a great time and look forward to coming back some day.
It was great to visit Italy and we decided that it would be nice to visit Italy again together.

Dear Chris,
How are you? I hope you're fine.
Last weekend i went to Rome with my cousin Daniel.
Fortunately the weather was very good and we spent a very good time down there, only some little problems with transportation, but in Italy it's ordinary administration.
We visited a lot of monuments like colosseum, fori imperiali, altar of patria, many squares, and at the end of the day we spent our last disposable hours eating like pigs in the Mc Donalds.
I hope one day i can took you in Rome with me, for the moment, satisfy your eyes with those photos i send to you.
I hope to see you soon!
Goodbye!
Valerio.

Hi Robert
How are you? Here everything is fine, I wanted to tell you about the trip I had with my cousin last week in Rome.
We took the train from Naples to Rome, the weather was not so good when we left but it wan no raining, once we arrived in Rome it started to rain heavily so that we could not reach the bus station.
We decided to buy an umbrella in the shop at the station and we reached the bus station where we discovered that our bus was lat and we had to wait one hour.
After that we were able to reach the museum we wanted to visit.
About 2 o’clock we had lunch in a restaurant close to the museum nd after we went to do shopping in the most famous street of Rome.
About 8 o’clock in the evening we took the train back to Naples.
It was a really nice day despite the beginning problems.
I wish you were with us.
I miss you.

Dear George
I spent last weekend in Rome with my cousin. What a beautiful city!!!it was a beautiful trip even if we weren't lucky for the weather...it rained all the time!!!we had many problems to move by the car and by autobus so we decided to leave the car that we rented in the hotel and to move by metro and probably it was a great idea!!!we visited many churches, coloseum and also we left a penny in the trevi's fountain to make our wishes come true. But above all we eated a lot!all the food was really good so we spend more time in the restaurant then in the museum...it was a great idea don't you think?
Rome is one of the most beautiful city i have seen...even if I think that a weekend isn't enough to see all the beauty of this city...I hope to go back as soon as possible.
we did a lot of photos that you have to see so next time we'll go there together.
