Assignment 2
This week, I would like you to go to the English file page (by clicking on the link on the right side of this page) and choose a vocabulary activity from the list. Remember, try to choose something we have already studied! When you have finished, write to me and tell me what you have done. I think you will find that the activities can be addictive once you get started!

Dear Teacher!
As you told me i went to english file page and i've searched for "Food and Restaurants" from the list of the vocabulary activities.
In this section i found "crossword" and "word search" and more than once i tried to find the solutions of this "games", using an english vocabulary to.
Thanks to this "games" i've learned lots of new words and i also enjoyned it very much.
I think that this is an important and useful learning method for the students.

I went to the english file page and I have chosen wordsearch regarding sport and personality by the word “vocabulary”. I tried to find the solutions of this "games", in time, but when the time is finished I have found fifteen word of eighteen. This exercise was useful for me because I have learned many new words. The game is very nice and can improve my English.

Last evening I've readed your post and I went to english file page.I have choosed crosswords regarding Transport and travel
but my great problem is the time,in fact I'm not very quick.
I think that I have improved my english after your lessions in fact I have learned many new words.

Good Morning teacher!
I went to the english file page and i have chosen the grammar exercises about "Houses" and "crosswords". I tried to find the solutions but my great problem is the time. With this method I've learned lots of new words, very useful for me. I have done also some grammar exercises for improve my English.
Dear teacher this type of lesson has been very very funny!Then I opened the "NEW English File Intermediate" page, I choose the link about "Games" and I made the three exercises. I enjoyed myself very much! The first exercise was about the "irregular pasts": I have made it for three times to memorize better the past tens and to reach a food score (84%); the second exercise was about the "jobs": the game showed me the verb and I had to write the respective job and I have made the exercise again and again till to obtain the highest of the score (100%); the last one was about the "strong adjectives": I have had a little problem with the time for this exercise but at the last it has also improved my capacity to write on the pc to take it faster! Thank you very much!
Dear teacher,
I went to the English file page and I selected from the vocabulary Food and Restaurants. I tried to do the crossword, but jet in Italian I don’t like much this type of game. Therefore after I choose another word, sport, and the other game: wordsearch. At the second attempt I finished the game. Also I found this type of lesson very funny and very useful to improve my vocabulary.

sorry I'm late.
I chose vocabulary activities about food and restaurant (this is my field of interest!). I tried to do crossword and wordsearch.
At first, I found some troubles to complete the activities within the time is granted me...than, at the end, I can say I'm satisfied I've learned some words I didn't know, as napkin. There are some words I didn't remember, as spoon, but now I'm sure I can't forget them anymore :)

dear teacher, in the english file page, I've done a crossword about food and restaurant
and I've learned a lot of new words such as "starter" that is the english word for the italian "antipasto".
This kind of exercise are very useful and funny! I'm goint to do more than one and put the english file page in my list of favourites websites

Hi teacher.
I tried to play with sport crossword before and I saw that I don’t know many words of sport, especially the playing field’s names. Then I played with food crossword: it’s easier and I inserted all the words very fast, unfortunately when I tried to play again I found same definitions.
I think that play everyday with several English crossword can improve my word’s baggage.
